A toddler who survived cancer honored her bone marrow donor in a special way -- by serving as flower girl in her wedding last month. Skye Savren-McCormick, 3, proudly tossed flowers down the aisle for the bride, 26-year-old Hayden Hatfield Ryals. Skye walked down the aisle wearing a bracelet of pearls inscribed with her name -- a gift from Ryals.

The red wolf, which once roamed all the way from Texas to New York, has dwindled to a wild population of around 35, found only in one peninsula in eastern North Carolina. On Wednesday, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service proposed allowing landowners to legally kill those wolves once they leave the confines of a small protected area known as Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge. The proposal was panned by wildlife experts.

Laurent Simons, whose father is Belgian and mother Dutch, and has an IQ of 145 according to his parents, collected a diploma with a class of 18-year-olds.
