A man walked around Disney World with a T-Shirt that said 'In need of kidney' and it worked
The idea for the T-shirt was a Hail Mary, a play US man Rob Leibowitz made out of deep desperation. Leibowitz, 60, had been enduring dialysis for years while his kidneys failed. He was grateful the treatments were keeping him alive, but they were four hours long, three days a week, a challenging commitment for a single father of five working full time. He needed someone to give him a kidney.

How Goodyear Hid Evidence Of 'The Worst Tire Made In History' Linked To At Least 9 Deaths
In October 2003, Billy Wayne Woods and his family packed into a luxury $181,000 motorhome for a fun getaway to Florida. Call it a textbook American vacation: their destination was Disney World, and with his wife, Shirley, his son and daughter-in law and two grandchildren in tow, the trip would surely be one to remember. But on the return home for the Alabama family, the vacation took an abrupt turn for disaster.

The death effect on artists prices actually occurs when they’re alive.
According to economists the death effect of artists prices is actually only observable for the five years before an artist dies. The theoretical underpinnings for their conjecture are simple, but sophisticated in their application. Prices are governed by the interaction between supply, the quantity and quality of a good or service, and the demand for it. In the art world, demand for an artist is influenced by many factors, such as critical reception, museum shows, and which collectors or institutions own works. But over the course of an artist’s lifetime, supply is governed chiefly by one factor: the artist who produces the work.

Feds investigating select Ford Explorers after drivers complain of feeling sick
Dizziness, nausea, and vomiting are not things typically associated with a drive to the store. But after more than 1,300 complaints of similar symptoms reported, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration ( NHTSA) says it is investigating Ford Explorer SUVs. They are looking at models from the years 2011-2017. Ford says they haven't found any problems that could explain why someone would develop those symptoms. The automobile manufacturer even says the SUVs are safe to use.

Calls for "sharing bags" of sweets to be banned because people eat them all in one go
"Share bags" of sweets and chocolates should be banned because children simply eat them all in one go, campaigners have said. Action on Sugar has called for a total ban on price promotions on confectionery after it found retailers offering bumper "sharing packs" at better value than smaller "individual" sizes. More than one in five adults (22 per cent) eat the sharing bags alone, in one go, with the figure rising to 35 per cent among 16 to 24-year-olds, its survey found.
