Self belief can overcome the effects of ‪‎poverty‬ on ‪academic‬ achievement

Cool new research from PNAS & Stanford University shows that students with a 'growth mindset' - where they believe they can do well in their studies - were buffered against the negative effects of poverty on achievement.
