This essay will attempt to compare and contrast ‘Classical Atheism’ with ‘New Atheism’. [1] The greatest challenge posed by such a comparative examination lies in the definitions and possible non-existence of any intrinsic, coherent and definable qualities, of the two phenomena which this essay seeks to compare.
